She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Higgins and Rosa Belcher Higgins; her son Paul Solosky; and her siblings, Orville Higgins, Henry E. Higgins, Sr., Richard "Sonny" Higgins, Douglas "Bubba" Higgins and Gladys "Little" Higgins.
She is survived by: her spouse Joe Solosky; her cousin Robert Rhodes of Fultondale; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy Higgins Notaro (Jeff), Deborah Higgins Castleberry (Eddie), Henry E. Higgins, Jr. (Lisa), Rick Higgins (Deb) and Mike Higgins (Jennifer). She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
