He was predeceased by: his grandmother Hattie Massey; his parents, Dasel Massey and Mary Massey; and his former wife Diane G. Massey. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Barnhill Massey; his daughter Jennifer Attaway (Matt); his grandchildren, Jackson Attaway and Charla Grace Attaway; his stepchildren, David Barnhill (Julianne), Bill Barnhill (Tammy) and Angela Goodyear; his sister Gladys Morris; his nephew Thorton Morris (Ann); and his nieces, Rachel and Emily Morris. He is also survived by step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
