He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B Smith and Dorothy H Smith; and his siblings, Stephen Smith and Barbara S Mize (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Smith; his children, David Smith (Lee Ann), Dana S Simpson (Steve), Michael Taylor (Christina) and Brooke Bartlett (Stephen); his grandchildren, Justin Smith (Brooke), Kathryn Smith (Rafa), Taylor Simpson, Jordan Kennedy (Carson), Kaylee Fells (Hunter), Rylee Reagan (Brody) and Emylee Bartlett; his great grandchildren, Cooper Fells, Steven Kennedy and Tatum Reagan; and his brothers, Charles B. Smth Jr. (Connie) and Allen Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM and from 11:15 PM to 12:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hughes Memorial Baptist Church (8786 Bradford Trafford Rd, Pinson, AL 35126).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to their church in Jack's memory.
