He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ellis and Flora Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lollar Ellis; his children, Bryan Ellis (Laura), Jared Ellis (Ellen) and Stacie Boss (Derek); his siblings, Joel Ellis (Ellen) and Ruth Lee; and his grandchildren, Ben Ellis, Jaden Ellis, Grace Ellis, Linus Ellis, Caleb Boss, Harrison Ellis, Lily Boss and Levi Boss.
