In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Wendell leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Wendell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Renae Pugh; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn Pugh and Gavin Pugh. He is survived by: his sons, James Douglas Pugh (Angie) and Danny Ray Pugh (Natasha); his former wife Barbara Pugh; and his siblings, Wyman Pugh, Nancy Powell and Sandra Bender. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (7759 Old Hwy 5 S, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
