He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Johnson and Virginia Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Wilkerson Johnson of Fulton, AL; his daughter Sylvia Johnson Gates (Lanny) of Gainesville, GA; his grandsons, Wes Gates (Emily) of Newnan, GA and Will Gates (Jade) of Dahlonega, GA; his great grandchildren, Hattie, Mary Ellis Gates of Newnan, GA, Kayton and Dallas Gates of Dahlonega, GA; his sisters, Marlene Drinkard of Thomasville, AL and Wylene Boney (John) of Butler, AL; and his sister-in-law Sandra Johnson of Fulton, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
