It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Owens (Fruithurst, Alabama), who passed away on April 10, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Owen and Curtis Owen; her son Tim Owens; and her sisters, Betty Bradley and Bobbie Morrow.
She is survived by: her husband Rufus Elmo Owens of Fruithurst, AL; her children, Susan Shepherd (Kyle) of Buchanan, GA and Kerry Owens (Sandra) of Jacksonville, AL; and her brothers, Billy Lee Owen of Heflin, AL and Barry Owen of Heflin, AL. She is also survived by Grandchildren 14-Great Grandchildren.
