He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hammitt and Martha Dukes Hammitt Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Pam Hammitt of Heflin, AL; his children, Bobbie Hammitt Pope of Dallas, Larry Hammitt (Debbie) of Cedartown, Frankie Hammitt of Dallas and Andrew Hammitt (Regan) of Fruithurst; his grandchildren, Samantha, James, John, Jake, Garrett, Madison, Ashley, Lance, Mark and Charlie; and his sisters, Virginia Prater of Buchanan and Ann Gilreath of Bremen. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
