He is survived by: his children, Howard Cartwright, Victor Rudd (Jodi), Teresa Cooper (Donnell) and Trisha; his grandchildren, Carla Reed, Havannah McIlwain, Jeremiah Davis, Michael Rudd, Aaron Rudd, Brandon Cartwright, Hannah Cartwright, Destiny Stringer, Breanna Cartwright and Jacob Wheeler; his sisters, Diane Dunn and Linda Cartwright; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Cartwright and Faye Cartwright. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
