He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Welch and Leona Welch; his wife Audrey Renay Welch; and his sister Luverne Gibson. He is survived by: his children, James Joseph Welch (Jennifer) of North and Jessica Nicole Welch Smith (Jeremy) of Frisco City; and his brother William Otis Welch of Frisco City. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
