Mattie Lou Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 89, Mattie Lou Brown of Frisco City, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Douglas "Doug" Brown, Sr.; her parents, Homer Smith and Janie Belle Smith; her brother Otis Smith; and her stepsister Corrine Waters.
She is survived by: her children, James Douglas Brown, Jr. (Mary) of Mexia and Michelle Brown Wall (Rick) of Monroeville; her grandchildren, John Haddox (Laura) of St. Mary's, Andrew Haddox of Ft. Campbell, Ella Wall of Monroeville and Gracie Wall of Monroeville; and her great grandchild John Thomas Haddox of St. Mary's.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mexia Cemetery (165 Old Salem Rd, Frisco City, AL 36445).
