He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hybert Cross and Johnnie Carol Weaver Cross; his son Cody Kenneth Cross; and his sisters, Candy Marie Cross and Cynthia Renea Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Hendrix Cross; his children, Courtney Cross of Stockton, Jennifer Bailey (Matt) of Excel, Kelly Gates of Mexia and Casey Ward of Excel; his brother Scottie Cross of Brewton; and his grandchildren, Breah Akins, Krisalyn Bailey, Peyton Akins, Kinsley Bailey, Garret White, Kasen Ward, Kaiyah Ward, Mason White, Kennedy Bailey and Easton Cross.
