It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Ward of Frisco City, Alabama, born in Goodway, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Silcox and Nannie Baggett Silcox; her husband Clifford Ward, Sr.; her daughter Carolyn Vintson; and her siblings, Earsle Silcox, Bartoe Silcox, Nadine Silcox Booker and Gloria Silcox Solomon.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Ward, Jr. (Barbara), Ricky Ward (Lisa), Freddie Ward, Donnie Ward (Susan), Patricia Harris (Larry) and Lanett Ward; her son-in-law Stoney Vintson, Sr.; and her sisters, Mary Silcox Kervin and Kathleen Silcox Ledkins (Ralph). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
