She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Daffin Hodge and Martha Nathalee Autry Hodge. She is survived by: her husband Danny; her daughters, Shannon Courington (Mark) and Jamie Sikes (Murray); her grandchildren, Weston Whitewolf (Shayla), Tatum Courington and Whitley Sikes; her great grandchild Emerson Whitewolf; her aunts, Patricia Harvey, Ida Campbell and Gracie York; and her nephew Taylor Wynn (Jessie Griffith). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many cousins, friends, co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to causes that Martha supported: the Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, The Winters School of Music at William Carey University, the Jackson Academy playground, and Mobile's Singing Children.
