He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore Hames and Edith Hestle Hames. He is survived by: his wife Pat Hames of Franklin; his sons, Jason Chambers Hames (Amy) of Mexia and James Ryan Hames (Alyson) of Mexia; and his brother Ted Hames of Phoenix, Ariz.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
