She is survived by: her daughter Candice Loper; her brother Cecil Matchett; her niece Kim McGilberry; her nephew Chris Matchett; her great-nephew Daniel McGilberry; and her close friends, Dot Brantley and Freddie Ward. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
