He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Redden and Mary Ramsey Hairel; his stepfather Jack Hairel; his daughter Lisa Jane Steele; and his siblings, Bob Redden, Don Hairel, Ray Hairel, Kay Hairel and Bertha Bolt.
He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Sue Evett Redden; his children, Wayne Redden, Rickey Chaney, Rebecca Jackson (Jamie) and Roger Redden (Sherry); his siblings, Ronnie Hairel (Tina), Lonnie Hairel (Tammy), Mary Ruth Busby and Emily Cooper (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Renee Steele, Christopher Redden (Katie), Ryan Hudman, Taylor Thomas (Derek), Jonathan Redden (Ali), Khaylie Burnley (Seth), Tabitha Cordell, Abby, Libby, Lacey Redden, Wyatt, Ella Jackson and Vanna Redden. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967).
