She was predeceased by: her parents, L. B. Thornberry and Wanda Wills Thornberry; her husband Bobby Evett; her son David Evett; and her brother Leonard Thornberry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mandy Morton and Carla Thacker; her siblings, Lester Ray Thornberry (Lisa) and Sonya; her brother-in-law Kevin Martin; and her grandchildren, Luke Morton, Max Morton, Emma Evett and Ethan Evett.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Adamsburg Cemetery.
