He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Brooks; his son Steven Brooks; and his parents, George Brooks and Mattie Brooks. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Parker (David) and Carol Vaughn (Leslie); his sisters, Marie Moody and Betty Green; and his granddaughters, Grace Parker, Jane Parker and Isabella Vaughn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986).
