We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2024, at the age of 74, James Henry Haney of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Henry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Grafton Haney and Bertha Gass Haney. He is survived by : his wife Felicia Haney; his children, Wanda Cobb, Frances Reese, Joyce Womack, Alice Alvarez, Ashley Christopher, Dusty Christopher and Michael Harvey; and his sister Frances Ferguson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967).
