She was predeceased by: her parents, Welton Hoover Norwood and Sue Austin Norwood. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joe McNew; her children, Suzanne Baggett (Jon) and Alan McNew (Whitley); her siblings, Thomas Norwood and Sharon Chastain; and also Renee Thomas. She is also survived by grandchildren, who did not have a granny.
