He was predeceased by: his wife Doris S. Dean; and his parents, Beanner R. Ervin and Lockie Stanley Ervin. He is survived by: his children, Misty E. Davis (Robby) and Stanley "Stan" Ervin (Dana); his grandchildren, Jayce Ervin (Brena) and Tiffany Escott (Dusty); his great grandchildren, Luke Ervin, Aiden Escott, Olivia Escott and Owen Escott; his siblings, James "Jim" Ervin (Elaine), Ann Ervin and Laura Jolley; his friend Glenn Brisendine; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Ervin, William "Bill" Ervin and Gay Williams.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Union Hill Cemetery (2525 Fischer Rd NE, Fort Payne, AL 35967).
