He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Rocha and Jane Harpe Rocha; his wife Annie Lockett Rocha; his children, Byron Johnson, Jr. (Veta), Regina Barnes (Clarence) and Tammie Smith (Hubert); his sister Rosa Harpe; his sister-in-law Cheryl Smith; and his nephew Peter Hogins. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
