It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gunter (Fort Mitchell, Alabama), born in Ariton, Alabama, who passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dawson Ziglar and Bennie Ruth Sinn Ziglar; her husband Mertie Rex Gunter; her sister Gloria Willoughby; her son Johnny Gunter; and her granddaughter Tiffany Jo Stokes.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Gunter, Sherris Ponce (Arnaldo "Rico"), Larry Gunter (Cindy) and Belinda Harris; her siblings, Becky Wallace (Juan), Frances Moates (Ronnie) and Byron Ziglar (Linda); her grandchildren, Christopher Gunter, Johnny Gunter, Mekenzi Hicks, Emily Gunter, Ty Cook, Kolby Cook, Jose Ponce and Andrea Morgan; and her great grandchild Maria Jo Senior (Bebe). She is also survived by several other extended family and friends.
