It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie L. Long (Fort Mitchell, Alabama), who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Streeter and Otis Lloyd; and her siblings, Georgia Lloyd, Sammie Lloyd, James Streeter, Essie Nell Streeter, Hattie Lloyd, Willie Streeter, Elizabeth Powell, Gertrude Crymes, Josephine Banks, Otis Lloyd, Jr., Frank Lloyd and Christine Lloyd.
She is survived by: her spouse Algie Long, Sr.; her child Algie, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Ravion, Kayla and Ava; her daughter Cheryl Davis (Willie) of Detroit, MI; her siblings, Carlena S. Howard (Charles), Mittie Streeter, Carrie Sweet Ola Gary (Lewis), Mary Lindsey, Leroyal Streeter (Queen), Johnny Streeter (Mildred) and William Lloyd (Joyce); and her niece Sara Jones. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
