She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Pickett and Eva Mae Weldon Pickett; her husband Charles Sanders; her children, Cecelia Richerson and Stanley Richerson; and her sister Patricia Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Richerson (Dorse), Michael Richerson (Corretta), Charles Sanders, Kevin Sanders, Barbara Harrison and Cynthia Jones (Maxwell); and her siblings, Juan Pickett (Tonya), Martha Hollis, Edna Pickett and Debbie Crowell (Andrew).
