He was predeceased by: his parents, Zollie Renford and Barbara Kathleen Sampley Heartsill; and his sister Wanda Heartsill McCarty. He is survived by: his brothers, James Renford Heartsill (Ren), Darrel Heartsill and Charles Heartsill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
