She was predeceased by: her parents, Dayton Oree Simmons, Sr. and Estelle Sirmon Simmons; her son David Ronald Watts; her siblings, Dayton Simmons, Jr., Donald Joseph Simmons, William Warren Simmons and Betty Jean Craig; and her parents-in-law, Callie Holmes Reid and George Julian Reid.
She is survived by: her husband Clive Alexander Reid; her children, George Reid (April), Scott Reid (Elizabeth) and Susan Darlene Keebler; and her sister Sylvia Owens. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
