We bid farewell to Betty Joyce Ward of Fort Deposit, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2024 at the age of 92. Betty Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Ward, Sr.; her parents, Rankin Seale and Lucille Seale; and her children, Lamar Langley and Vivian Langley.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Langley (Alicia Walker), Alan Langley (Kathy), Gordan Ward (Beth) and Bill Ward, Jr. (Glenda). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunklin Funeral Home (812 W Commerce St, Greenville, AL 36037). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (15 Church St, Fort Deposit, AL 36032). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Myrtlewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
