He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Dewey Jines and Fern Cross Jines; his wife Fairybell "Dixie" Howe Jines; and his siblings, Jasper Dewey Jines, Jr., Audrey Maxine Jines Johonopolis, Jack Ward Jines, Ruby Jines Draper Phillips, Clara Mae Jines Dixon, Linda Sue Jines Echert and Michael Ray Jines.
He is survived by: his son Roy Louis Jines; and his sisters, Donna Yeager and Barbara Lynam.
