He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Ann Reeves Coley. He is survived by: his father Joel Austin Coley; his wife Marsha Jane Stone Coley of Forkland; his stepmother Myrtle Coley of Demopolis, AL; his daughters, Miranda Brooke Coley Barkley (Keith), Heather Owings (Clyde Hill) and Ashley Owings; his brother Joel Austin Coley, Jr. (Emily); and his grandchildren, Ridge Barkley and Skylar Hill.
