He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Burgans; his parents, Jessie Burgans and Joy Burgans; and his siblings, Barbara Barbosa and Cleveland Burgans.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Robinson Burgans; his children, Melissa "Missy" Paulding (Allen), James Hilton Burgans (Nancy), Veronica Mathews (Ronnie), Dusty Alexander (Christy), Chad Waller (Lexie) and Samantha McCullough (Andrew); his grandchildren, Jessie Kelly (Grace), Zoe Paulding, Katylynne Ammons, Joseph Halford, Trinity Harris, Samantha Cox, Zoey Alexander and Calee Alexander; his great grandchild Blakleigh Kelly; and his siblings, Wilton Burgans, Joyce Morrison and Shirley Mosley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Home Baptist Church (2201 7th Ave, Forest Home, AL 36030). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Forest Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Dunklin Funeral Home to help the family offset costs.
