She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Roper and Cecile Gray Roper; and her husband John Will Carroll, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jenifer Carroll Brewer (Fred) of Hoover, AL, John Will Carroll, Jr. (Susan) of Nashville, TN, Mark Roper Carroll of Summerdale, AL and Timothy Carl Carroll of Gulf Shores, AL; her grandchildren, Raleigh Weston Brewer of Hoover, AL, John Paul Carroll of Fletcher, NC and Jessica Fig of New Orleans, LA; and her brother Tom. She is also survived by met him again, married and had four children.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Big Oak Ranch, Business Office, Donations, 250 Jake Mintz Road, Gadsden AL 35905, or The Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Building Repair Fund, 1900 Gulf Shores Parkway, Gulf Shores AL 36542.
