He was predeceased by: his wife Loisdene T. Smith; his son Richard L. Smith; and his grandson James Carlos Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Randy Smith (Susan) of Valparaiso, IN, Ralph Smith (Cheryl) of Jamestown, NY and Owen Smith (Vicki) of Valparaiso, IN; his daughter-in-law Sally Snyder of Kittanning, PA; and his grandchildren, Kerri Molnar (Chris), Ryan Smith, Matthew Smith, Charley Smith, Clayton Smith, Cameron Smith and Allison Smith. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; his girls, and many other relatives and friends.
