He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Sherman; his children, William R. Sherman, Jr. of Hartselle, AL, Angela Thompson of North Chesterfield, VA and Scott A. Sherman of St. Mary's, GA; his nephew Russell Trancygier; and his niece Kim Trancygier. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
