He is survived by: his children, Adam Smith (Jamie) of Bay Minette, Alabama, Chelsea Dorgeist (Till) of Munich, Germany and Samuel Smith (Katie) of Johnson, Vermont; and his grandchildren, Ansley, Allison Smith of Bay Minette, Crew and Malea Dorgeist of Munich, Germany..
