It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ward (Foley, Alabama), born in Logan, Ohio, who passed away on October 3, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband John D. Ward; and her children, Murl Edwards of Waverly, Paula Kreiner (Karl) of Grand Ledge, John Davis and Edward Joseph.
Surviving is her husband of 65 years, John D. Ward; children, Murl Edwards of Waverly, Ohio, Paula (Karl) Kreiner of Grand Ledge, Michigan, John Davis 'JD' (Renee) Ward of Lansing, Michigan, and Edward Joseph 'Joe" (Cindy) Ward of Marshall, Michigan. She has 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. One son preceded her in death. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Foley, Alabama at 11 a.m. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Ecumenical Ministries, Inc., 102 W Spruce Ave., Foley, Alabama to help feed the hungry.
