He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Griffin and Margaret Griffin of Birmingham, AL; and his former wife Gayle Cameron Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Beverlyn Houston Griffin of Foley, AL; his son Charles L. "Chuck"; his daughter-in-law Mindy Griffin of Litchfield Park, AZ; his daughter Ginger Griffin; his son-in-law Dr. Franklin Matthew Eppinette of Lincolnshire, IL; and his brother John Allen Griffin of Foley, AL. He is also survived by numerous step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Good News in Action through First Baptist Gulf Shores.
