He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Louise Simpson (Chris) of Foley, AL; his sister Pearlie Carpenter of Millry, AL; and his grandchildren, Vivian Brianna Hicks, Bobby Roy Garland, Jr., Brooklynn Garland and Baylee Simpson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
