She was predeceased by: her husband George "Bubba" Benton; her siblings, Melba Collins, Louree Little and Ozell McKay; and her parents, Clarence McKay and Agnes McKay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Hyman (Don), Wanda Arrington (Tom) and Susan Morgan (Dan); and her sister Juanita Clackler. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren.
