He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Dean and Frieda Whitaker; and his children, Kevin Daniel, Michael Eugene, Gayla Sue and Patricia Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Shirley, Janet (David) and Larry (Janie); and his sister Dorothy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
