She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Seitz and Louella Seitz; her husband Eugene E. Bogar; and her son Scott E. Bogar. She is survived by: her son Dr. Craig T. Bogar of Gulf Shores; her daughter-in-law Dr. Christine Bogar; and her granddaughters, Corinne B. Lovejoy of Broken Arrow and Brooke E. Bogar of Gulf Shores, Alabama.. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Those wishing to honor her life may donate in her name to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
