He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koniar, Jr. and Minerva Genevieve Chatham; and his stepfather Harold John Chatham. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue (Lee); his children, John Todd Koniar (Kim) of Magnolia Springs, AL, Robert Thomas Koniar (Sarah) of Lewisville, TX and Mell Koniar Davis of Foley, AL; his grandchildren, Katherine Ann Koniar, John Bradley Koniar, Claire Ann Davis, Shelby Chatham Koniar and Lee Webster Davis; and his sister Sandy Chatham Martin (Ken) of Cato, MS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Foley and the Foley Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
