He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma and William; his siblings, William Craig and Margaret Ann; and his sons, Vincent Todd Patterson and Scott Dale PattersonJames.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Patterson; his children, James Patterson (Donnette) and Victoria Lynne Shire (Dawn Patterson); his grandchildren, Ashley Patterson, Sarah Shire, Stephanie Garris (Robert), James Patterson (Jessica), Vincent Todd Patterson Jr., Eddie Patterson (Caitlin), Brandon Taylor (Courtney), Levi, Lyric and Lucian Metz; and his great grandchildren, Cole Patterson, Britton, Cora Garris, Garrett, Preston Taylor, Brooklyn and Jackson Harris. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Lillian (34421 W Barclay Ave, Lillian, AL 36549). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
To honor James's memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
