He is survived by: his wife Rita Gardner; his mother Jewell Gardner; his siblings, Villie Thompson (Matthew), Suzy Gardner and Becky South (Randy); his sons, Brent Ward and Chad Ward; his grandchildren, Dylan Ward (Candace), Chase Ward, Brandon Ward, Allie Ward (Demarius), Alyssa Ward and Claysea Ward; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Easton, De'Ziyah and I'Myriah.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
