It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Beck III of Foley, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his children, Susan Fortune and William Colburn (Buck); his daughter-in-law Jana Colburn; his grandchildren, Emma Colburn and Quince Colburn; and his great grandchildren, Raelee Campbell and Reilly Campbell.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Horton, Thomas Beck and Hazel Diane Hunt; his foster son Van Davis; and his grandchildren, Cindy Blair Parker, Kathrine Brook Atwell, Felicia Beck Campbell, Travis Hallman, Thomas Beck, Steven Allen Hunt, Daniel Nichol, Crystal Hancock, Jayne Nichol and John Beck.
