He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Byrne and Winifred Byrne; and his sister Rebecca "Becky" Byrne. He is survived by: his significant other Sue Byrne of Foley; his brother Thomas "Tom" Byrne (Donna) of Evergreen, AL; his children, Winifred "Wendy" Ahrenkiel of Atlanta, Kristy Whitaker (Albie) of Fairhope, Leigh Dionisio (Rick) of Foley and Jill Glenn of Pensacola; and his grandchildren, Porter Ahrenkiel, Grey, Birch Whitaker, Gavin Dionisio and Connor Manning. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
