He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Dawson; his parents, Annie Mae Dawson and Steven Frank Dawson; and his siblings, Jack Dawson and Dorsey Mae Dawson White.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Dawson and Kevin Dawson; his grandchildren, Lauren (Barin) and Trey Cook (Claire); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Garrison, Foregger and Olivia Cook; and his siblings, Steve Dawson (Elizabeth), Grace Davis (Aubrey), Shirley Poiroux, Joyce Rudberg (Terry) and Howard Dawson (JaNay). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar United Methodist Church (915 N Pine St, Foley, AL 36535). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
