It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Shackelford (Foley, Alabama), who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, M. F. Caldwell and Evelyn Caldwell; and her siblings, Frances Shell, Fred Caldwell, Frank Caldwell and Mary Veasey.
She is survived by: her husband John B. Sackelford; her daughters, Abbie Shackelford and Mary Newsome; her grandchildren, Cara, Nicholas, Brock, Madison, Halhwanger, Bo Miller, Tracey and Jesse Newsome; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Newsome, Margaret Miller and Amari Miller. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
