It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertis Levon Brown (Foley, Alabama), who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stephen Brown and Melissa Estelle Brown (Bond); and his sisters, Beatrice Estelle Outzen, Willie Ruth Pierce, Gloria Faye Zeigler, Marie Jane Smith and Wynette Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Bell Brown; his siblings, Garry L. Brown (Henrietta), Byron Robert Brown (Edna), Annie Pearl Nelson and Audrey Kay Sims; and his children, Sara Dianne Maggard (Charles), Gail Elaine Goolsby (Russell), Levon (Wanda), Gerald Edward (Deborah), Byron Kenneth and Tony. He is also survived by his four sons and two daughters.
